ST JAMES' SQUARE ADVISES ALTORIA DEVELOPMENT ON BESPOKE BUNGALOW PROJECT
2ND OCTOBER 2019
New build development company, Altoria Development, has expanded its portfolio of bespoke bungalows with assistance from St James’ Square law firm. The latest construction work took place at Furrow Grove in Stannington, Northumberland. It comprises a range of detached luxury bungalows, all built to a high specification. The Furrow Grove project started in 2016, with eight bungalows each designed to client’s tastes with cathedral windows and vaulted ceilings. In February 2018, a further six bungalows were added to the development due to high demand. St James’ Square partner and head of real estate, Martin Wilson, advised the development company for the duration of the project. He said: “It’s been a delight to work with the team at Altoria Development, advising them throughout the process of buying, developing and selling these fourteen exclusive bungalows. “It was no surprise how rapidly the bungalows in the first phase sold due to their individual unique designs. The success quickly led to the second phase of development and we’re pleased to have recently completed on the sale of the final bungalow.”
Alan and Victoria Fleming established Altoria Development in 2014 and specialise in bespoke, fully adaptable, new build bungalows. Alan commented: “The team at St James’ Square are experts in their field, and we wouldn’t look any further for quality legal advice. “Not only have the team managed all of the plot sales, they offered excellent guidance when complexities with the development arose.” The next project for Altoria is a development of four detached bungalows in Blyth. Victoria added: “We’re so pleased to be working closely again with Martin and the team on our next project in the Chase Farm area of Blyth. The exclusive two-bedroom bungalows will be released for sale later this year.”

Altoria Development’s first project took them to Furrow Grove, Stannington Station to develop a disused nursery site into an executive estate of eight detached bungalows. The specification was high and the demand was phenomenal with all eight bought off-plan and now occupied. Construction commenced two months later with an upgraded specification yet still offering a bespoke build with an endless amount of choices for the buyer. ABC MAGAZINE - NORTH EDITION LOCAL PROPERTY COMPANY BUILD ON THEIR EXPANDING POTFOLIO MARCH / APRIL 2020
Five years after launching a property development company specialising exclusively in building outstanding new bungalows, Morpeth-based husband and wife team Alan and Victoria Fleming are about to expand their portfolio of bespoke bungalows in Blyth. Alan and Victoria’s business, Altoria Development, saw their first development form at Furrow Grove in Stannington which took the market by storm. The quality and high specification ensured that all fourteen bungalows sold off-plan. Some would say quite an achievement for first-time developers! They are looking to match that success once more with their latest development named Oakfield Grove, marketed as an intimate development of four detached bungalows nestled into a cosy cul-de-sac off Inglewood Close in Chase Farm. Alan said “we are very much looking forward to bringing our product to Blyth. There is a clear demand for bungalows throughout Northumberland and we pride ourselves in the high-quality finish each home offers. Remarkably before a spade was placed into the ground we have had numerous enquiries about this development”. Altoria Development say their niche which sets them poles apart from other developers is their ability to offer a bespoke service that allows prospective purchasers to alter internal layouts and choose from a wide range of internal fittings to provide a new home that is fit for purpose. Oakfield Grove will be approached via a private roadway off Inglewood Close. Each home will be finished in a rustic red brick and a grey roof tile to compliment the nearby surroundings. At approximately 982 square feet, each property will include two double sized bedrooms, family bathroom, kitchen, large lounge with French doors overlooking a private rear garden. Hallway cupboard and integrated garage with electric door. Victoria said “as with all of our developments we have kept the specification high and everything is included within the sale price so there are no hidden extras”. Oakfield Grove includes as standard: a range of laminate worktops and co-ordinated cabinetry in a choice of colour, integrated Bosch appliances to include a tallboy fridge and freezer, induction hob, oven and extractor. Choice of internal white door and door handle, choice of tiling to family bathroom, range of flooring included throughout the property and choice of electrical layout throughout. Modern combination boiler with radiator system, turfed front and rear gardens and integrated single garage with electric door. The couple saw construction commence in February and are aiming for an end of summer 2020 completion date which will see the first set of bungalow keys handed over. Victoria added “completion day is the best part of my job. I work directly with each buyer to design their perfect new home from internal finishes to landscaping. So, when completion day arrives I’m privileged to walk the new homeowner through their bungalow, seeing their ideas become a reality. It’s a very proud moment for all of the team.” For a sales brochure or to request a site viewing please contact Altoria Development on 01670 432603 or alternatively visit the websitewww.altoriadevelopment.co.uk.
