A North East property development company has acquired a sister site as it expands. Altoria Development, based in Morpeth, has announced that it is expanding into a second site, based in Stannington. Altoria was established in 2014 by husband and wife team Alan and Victoria Fleming, with an aim to produce bespoke bungalows. Its first development, on Furrow Road, was launched in 2016. The first phase of 8 detached bungalows was sold off-plan, followed in 2018 by a further six. The new site, Ridge Grove, will provide an exclusive development of eight detached bungalows, all of which will provide the opportunity for each buyer to customise their individual home. Five years after launching a property development company specialising exclusively in building outstanding new bungalows, Morpeth-based husband and wife team Alan and Victoria Fleming are about to expand their portfolio of bespoke bungalows in Blyth. Alan and Victoria’s business, Altoria Development, saw their first development form at Furrow Grove in Stannington which took the market by storm. New build development company, Altoria Development, has expanded its portfolio of bespoke bungalows with assistance from St James’ Square law firm. The latest construction work took place at Furrow Grove in Stannington, Northumberland. It comprises a range of detached luxury bungalows, all built to a high specification. The Furrow Grove project started in 2016, with eight bungalows each designed to client’s tastes with cathedral windows and vaulted ceilings. In February 2018, a further six bungalows were added to the development due to high demand. St James’ Square partner and head of real estate, Martin Wilson, advised the development company for the duration of the project. He said: “It’s been a delight to work with the team at Altoria Development, advising them throughout the process of buying, developing and selling these fourteen exclusive bungalows. “It was no surprise how rapidly the bungalows in the first phase sold due to their individual unique designs. The success quickly led to the second phase of development and we’re pleased to have recently completed on the sale of the final bungalow.”

Altoria Development’s first project took them to Furrow Grove, Stannington Station to develop a disused nursery site into an executive estate of eight detached bungalows. The specification was high and the demand was phenomenal with all eight bought off-plan and now occupied. In February 2018 planning permission was granted for a further six bungalows on the southern edge of Furrow Grove. Construction commenced two months later with an upgraded specification yet still offering a bespoke build with an endless amount of choices for the buyer. Four of the ‘new’ six are now complete and occupied with the remaining two currently under construction and expected to be ready by spring 2019.
